I love to create.

I’ve always been an artist, and fashion has been part of my ecosphere from a young age; I grew up watching runway shows with my mom, a signed model in the 80s & 90s. Our family also watched my parents’ wedding video as a Valentine’s Day anniversary tradition, so my spirit of romance is deeply ingrained.

At Drexel, known for research, engineering and design, I earned a B.S. in Fashion Design with a double minor in Fine Art and Art History. I completed a work-study program assisting the lead curator at the Robert and Penny Fox Historic Costume Collection, cataloguing and archiving donations to the exhibit. My coursework specialized in millinery and couture evening wear, trained by a designer formerly under an FHCM-recognized house.

I began working in local bridal shops as a teenager, a resource to brides through consultations, fittings and alterations, where I learned to reverse-engineer gowns by many different designers. Later I did contract work for other fashion labels and ateliers, tailoring new and archival pieces for A-list celebrities attending the Met Gala and CFDA Awards. After a few years as Creative Director for a now shuttered wholesale line, I realized I’m most enchanted with this work when commissioned directly by clients. My bespoke brand launched quietly in 2012 and now I exclusively design and sew under my name.

Craftsmanship, comfort and preservation shape my aesthetic - not just in adornments - I consistently live and host my intimate studio in 100+ year old buildings, and decorate with vintage, thrifted and handed-down family pieces. I employ traditional methods of craft, intricate details, hand-embellishment, and have manipulated, dyed and painted fabric and skins for one-of-a-kind pieces. My work features fine wovens: silk, vintage and European lace. I aim to source the majority of materials in my collection and bespoke work from designer end-cuts, repurposed, recycled or reused (but always clean); I truly enjoy breathing new life into textiles and trimmings, wasting little, and endeavor to create minimal environmental impact.

I hold myself to a high standard of delivery and integrity, honoring the trust clients grant me when dressing them for their most significant and celebrated moments. Limited commissions are accepted yearly to maintain consistency in dedication and degree of service. This is slow fashion produced by a solo operator, from concept sketch through execution.

Outside of this work I also explore 2D via paper and canvas, have an evolving interest in visuals and the use of space, color and texture with interiors, enjoy repurposing furniture and am often rearranging, refocusing or revisiting the function of my own space. I love to be outdoors as much as possible, discover new places, find inspiration and intrigue in unlikely ones, cook and eat well, and stay active and in touch with the world. I am a New Jersey native, lifelong history student, reverer of nature and the steward of a beautiful mixed-breed rescue.
