As an artist and romantic, Heather has always been drawn to artful craftsmanship and couture. Her career in fashion began in 2005, working as a consultant with brides and their attendants, developing an affinity for helping customers find the perfect ensemble and an appreciation for bespoke pieces.
Continuing to refine her knowledge in fashion and garment construction, Heather graduated with a degree in Fashion Design and minors in Fine Art and Art History from Drexel University. During that time she worked as a curating assistant at the Drexel Historic Costume Collection, cultivating her learning of intricate couture details from the work of many renowned fashion masters. Heather ended her studies with concentrations in couture evening wear and millinery, her thesis earning her an 'Honors with Distinction'.
Still entranced, she acquired new points of view within the industry by working on the corporate end of a luxury designer bridal house, in production with a bespoke couture company, and heading the creative department for a limited-production bridal line. Heather’s tailoring experience ranges from one-on-one fit and alterations to tailoring designer pieces for A-list celebrities in preparation for the Met Gala. Naturally, her combined skills and bridal history lead her to create custom gowns and accessories, having the privilege of working with discerning customers since 2012.
All work is proudly American-made with special care in Heather's studio, providing every customer with high quality service and craftsmanship.
